*If plan on volunteering-You MUST come to training session*
We are also looking for a new Volunteer Coordinator and Volunteer Co-coordinator to lead us into 2018.  Now is the perfect time to volunteer as we can give you a step-by-step walk through between now and the week in December.  The Volunteer Coordinator is the liaison between St. Andrew and the Family Promise organization. Duties include a monthly meeting/call-in meeting, planning for upcoming dates and scheduling and organizing our very committed group of St. Andrew volunteers. Family Promise (the organization) and St. Andrew UMC both prefer that Coordinators serve for 2 years and then go back to being part of the at-large volunteer group.  It's time to "pass the torch."
If you have questions, please don't hesitate to email Katherine Cullom at

Love Offering

We have so many blessings to be thankful for here at St. Andrew United Methodist Church. Our staff always seems to go above and beyond what is expected and are a huge part of what makes St. Andrew so special. Please prayerfully consider your gift of a “love offering” during this season of giving to show our appreciation to these individuals who do so much for us all year. Please mark your check “love offering” on the memo line and put it in the offering plate, or, if more convenient, you can go online and indicate what it is for. All gifts should be received by December 21st.

Thank you so much for your consideration and Merry Christmas! St. Andrew UMC SPRC

 Did YOU know.......
Red Bucket
The red bucket campaign has been in place for a few years and we have been able to reduce the mortgage balance a great deal through this campaign.  This year the finance committee is asking each member to make a sacrifice of one dollar each day to go toward our red bucket campaign and reduce our mortgage balance.  We are asking this in addition to your regular giving.  If every member contributed in this manner we would be able to reduce the balance on our mortgage by over $100,000 each year.  Be sure to mark your check “red bucket”.
Calling All Nurses
There are so many activities at St. Andrew and many children to keep safe.
We would love to know who are our members who are registered nurses.  We  would live to have you available at times likes Vacation Bible School.  But we can also do other activities to teach young people how to take care of
We would appreciate letting with Carol in the church office.  All we need is your name and phone number.  We will contact you then to help us make suggestions and give us ideas for how to use our nursing skills to help youngsters and youth at St. Andrew.
