Faithful Followers will be on Friday, May 10th at 11:30 a.m. Kristen Miller from the Must Ministries Summer Lunch Program will be coming to educate us on the many ways our group can help supply lunches to needy children in our community.  Do you realize they provide over 4,000 lunches per day in Cobb County? Join us for lunch ($6) & warm Christian fellowship.  Do invite a friend!  You need not be a member of  our church to participate.

IF YOU ARE 18 - 25, ST. ANDREW JOIN OUR COLLEGE AND CAREER GROUP. We will be getting together this month for a time of fellowship and trying our hand at an interactive escape room in the area for some team building! Stay tuned for details!

SASS Hosts a Program on Wills

 Do you have a will?  Is your will outdated? On May 28th at 7pm in the Community Room SASS will host for all the members of the church and guests a program given by the Methodist Foundation about wills. Childcare will be provided.  Come and bring your friends to hear this information and get these documents: 


 In order to have enough handouts for everyone we would like to get an estimate of how many will attend.  You may notify by email, phone 770-587-2074, or on the SASS page on facebook to let us know you are coming .

We have another mission team going to Haiti September 3-10, 2019.
Please keep donating your good, used cell phones (plus chargers, if you have them). BE SURE TO WIPE DATA AND UNLOCK ANY CODES.

September 3-10, 2019
An important “kick-off” meeting will be Sunday, February 3rd at 12:15 p.m. at Sixes UMC Worship Center
Come join a mission team to Haiti and see how your life and the lives you touch will change! We work with and encourage local Pastors and their communities by providing medical and optical clinics and Bible school.

Instead of trying to recruit new Volunteer Coordinators, Richie & I will continue in that role, but we have added a new "Volunteer Coordinator of the Day." This involves being the point person for that day - making sure all of the volunteers arrive (and finding a sub if they don't or letting us know), checking to see if there are any needs (supplies, missing items , guest or volunteer requests, etc...) and letting us know. Anam Cara Soul Care Group - 

MONDAY, April 1st @ 7PM

"How is it with your soul?" All are welcome into Anam Cara Soul Care group, held the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. (generally in the conference room). This group comes together for contemplative fellowship and to learn about and engage in a spiritual practice. We'll be taking a mystery field trip this April meeting!! Meet in the church parking lot at 6: 50 p.m. for a contemplative adventure with Rev. Beth! Monday, April 1 (no April Fool's joke! We really ARE meeting!)
Last Anam Cara Soul Care Group before summer break: Monday, May 6 at 7 p.m. in the conference room. This is a contemplative space to check in about how it is with our souls and engage in a spiritual practice. All are welcome.
